Bone cancer is a problem which is caused due to the bone cells. There are many people who are diagnosed with bone cancer in the United States. The bone tumors in children are very common and it is very less common with the older adults. The cancer due to which the older adults are affected is mainly due to the metastatis from another tumor. There are many different kinds of bone cancer. The most common primary tumor includes the Osteosarcoma. Others include the Chondrosarcoma, Ewing Sarcoma, Chordoma, fibrosarcoma and malignant fibrous histiocytoma.

Osteosarcoma is a very primary bone cancer and is very common. The men between the age groups f 10 and 25 are most commonly affected. There are many less adults who are affected with this type of cancer. The occurrence is mainly found in the long bones of the legs and arms.

Sometimes they are also found around the shoulders and the knees of the children. This cancer type is very aggressive and has a high risk of spreading to lungs. The survival rate is around 65 percent.

This type of cancer is very painful and serious and its development in the human body is very dangerous. This cancer is commonly found in children and adolescents than in the full grown adults. The identification of cancer should be done in the early stages for avoidance of risks. The bone cancer symptoms should be identified early.

Listed below are the various bone cancer symptoms:
1. The first warning sign of this type of cancer is the pain that is found stemming from the bones. The bones of legs and arms are usually affected by bone cancer. This cancer is very common in younger people. If abnormal pain is being caused by the bone, the healthcare provider should surely be consulted.
2. Sometimes there is a visible lump that is stemming out from the bone. This is a sign that cancer is developing in the bones. The lump is also known as tumor. However, if a person is having a large tumor, it is very painful. It is also an indication of rapid cancer growth. A person must go to an oncologist for treating this type of aggressive cancer. This is one of the main bone cancer symptoms.
3. Another symptom is weakness in the bones. In several cases, bone cancer is discovered only after a bone is broken.

Discover the amazing secret why just a hand full of people turn to these amazing doctors for cancer treatment!

Its the most advanced remarkable cancer therapy in the world and most medical establishments wont let you have it!

Top cancer doctors reputed to be the best in the world literally cook cancer out of your body while you nap.

You wake up free of pain and discomfort! Best part of all, the cost is one tenth that of normal conventional treatment.

The truth of the matter is that Hyperthermia Therapy has been around for a while, specifically in the USA, FDA approved for 26 years now and it can cure someone after his or her horrendous battle with cancer with no permanent side effects!

To most people, this is news, in fact news, very hard to believe.

In the heart of Los Angeles for over 20 years, there has been a fully operating Institute, combining Hyperthermia Therapy with low fractionated radiation, showing impeccable results. The doctors have proven, yet one more time, that heat has healing abilities and when applied together with radiation has almost double the results of radiation used alone.

If so, why is this not widely spread all over the world, right? Your question is very logical.

Dr. James I. Bicher, founder and director of Bicher/Valley Cancer Institute, is considered one of the pioneers in this specialized field. He has dedicated his whole life to studying and researching Hyperthermia Therapy. It has been impressive to see over and over again the effectiveness of this treatment and even more so, the great differences this treatment has to the more conventional treatments.

The main difference is that for the most part it leaves the body intact after the treatment, to allow itself to help with the healing process. The way scientists and doctors have created this is by: the body is given small doses of both hyperthermia therapy and fractionated radiation on a weekly basis, 5 times every week depending on each individuals treatment plan set up by what is best for the patient over a period of time. This allows the body to adjust to the changes and the healing that will occur.

Gentle heat will be applied onto each tumor and around the tumor at about 104 degrees Fahrenheit using the localized Hyperthermia machines. The heat increases the blood circulation and it oxygenates the blood flow, so it can kill the cancer cells with more effectively. Cancer cells cannot live well in oxygen; therefore, they become more vulnerable and susceptible to destruction. Combining Hyperthermia with low dose radiation (IMRT), which was developed and implemented by Dr. James I. Bicher, is what makes the tumors deteriorate and disappear.

As the radiation is fractionated, other than feeling a little fatigue, patients do not suffer or experience any major side effects. Unlike with what happens when the more common conventional treatment is used. The body not only suffers from the disease, it is also attacked and overwhelmed from heavy dosages of medication, chemotherapy, and high dose radiation all at once. What surgery does to the body, takes things to a whole other level of trauma.

The body is indeed in a state of disease but these measures are very drastic and happen so rapidly that your body does not know what to fight first, the cancer or the treatment.

Once you undergo conventional treatment, your body is left partially deteriorated and with many of its healthy healing process will take much longer. The Hyperthermia Therapy Treatment offers very little to even no side effects. Not only will it reduce pain significantly, it can eliminate the need for narcotics (painkillers) used to treat pain. Hyperthermia can even help improve the immune system. Patients are able to resume back to their everyday normal lives in much less time than they would have if they chose conventional treatment.

Life and staying alive is important but isnt the Quality of Life, in which one lives, the whole point? So, why would you want to live the rest of your life having your body not only physically disfigured but in constant agony and pain? Just sitting back, allowing other people tell you what is best by choosing the conventional approach will lead you in that direction! Be strong and take charge of your OWN body, and look into Alternative Therapy.

There are much greater alternative options available. You can read all about alternative cancer treatment on the internet.

Imagine a cancer that not only changed everything in your life but was actually a cancer that you were too embarrassed to talk about because it ruthlessly invaded your most intimate areas? Colorectal cancer, or colon cancer, is the second deadliest cancer in America, causing over 655,000 deaths worldwide per year. To spread awareness and help others cope with this deadly disease, one woman is tossing her embarrassment aside and speaking out. Here’s what she wants you to know about colorectal cancer.

March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month

One reason breast cancer is so easily and publically discussed is because women are speaking up and creating a whirlwind of change in awareness and education. One woman is doing just that for March’s National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month.

Colorectal cancer, also called colon cancer or large bowel cancer, develops in the lining of the large bowel, colon and rectum. It usually develops in a polyp and, caught early, is curable in many cases. If left undetected, it can lead to death.

Colon cancer screening is essential for early detection

Thea Wilson, age 51, was diagnosed with colorectal cancer one year ago on March 5. She’s telling her story so that others will be proactive and get regular screenings for this common cancer that no one really wants to talk about. Wilson and her husband are both registered nurses in St. Petersburg, Florida, but having a medical background didn’t make the news any easier. “We chose to have a friend, who happened to be a surgeon as well, help to keep us grounded,” recalls Wilson.

“We needed someone who was not as deeply and emotionally involved to give us the information, give us the type of decisions we had and the timeframe we had to make the decisions.”

Wilson was diagnosed at the exact age that is recommended to begin screenings for this disease. Fortunately for Wilson, she listened to her body. Her menstrual cycles were occurring closer together and heavier than normal. She was experiencing a lot of discomfort in her back – something she never experienced before. Tests by her gynecologist all came back negative for reproductive conditions, so her gynecologoist suggested a screening for colorectal cancer. Wilson tested positive.

Colorectal cancer can be fatal

After visiting her primary physician and a gastroenterologist, she went in for her colonoscopy. Wilson tested positive for a large colon tumor that appeared to be in a Stage IV cancer. “I was told to get my affairs in order because it didn’t look good,” the registered nurse says. Calling herself an “AARP Parent” (AARP referring to the American Association of Retired Persons), with her still-strong sense of humor, Wilson’s gravest thoughts were of her nine-year-old daughter. “My heart was stopping; I waited a lifetime for this baby of mine – finally I have my daughter and now I won’t get to watch her grow up.”

Immediate treatment for colon cancer is crucial

After a flurry of medical visits – PET scans and CAT scans – everything “fell into place brilliantly,” Wilson says. In less than a week, her illness was pinpointed and a plan of action was in place. Wilson was scheduled for surgery: a diverting ileostomy, which is a surgical opening constructed by bringing the end or loop of the small intestine (the ileum) out into the surface of the skin where waste is collected into an external pouch system stuck to the skin, then chemotherapy for six weeks and radiation therapy every day for five days a week at WellSpring Oncology Cancer Center in Pinellas Park, Florida. It was at WellSpring that Wilson learned, as an RN, what compassion for patients really means to them.

She also took her “transfusions of love” from family, friends and a support system online that allowed loved ones to leave her messages on a website called CaringBridge.org.

During a five-week rest period, Wilson thought she could handle it all but wasn’t quite sure after the chemotherapy. “It was horrendous. I had an unusual response to the chemotherapy – every joint was swollen about three times the size as normal. It was the freakiest thing and very painful,” she says. Wilson is a survivor. She went into remission and decided to speak out to raise awareness about this potentially fatal disease.

Are you at risk for colorectal cancer?

Even if you aren’t yet age 50, the recommended age for colon cancer screening, and are asymptomatic, you should still be aware of the factors that increase your risk of developing the disease.

Risk factors for colon cancer:

Age 50 or older

A family history of cancer of the colon or rectum

A personal history of cancer of the colon, rectum, ovary, endometrium or breast

A history of polyps in the colon

Signs and symptoms of colon cancer

Being aware of the symptoms of colon cancer can help you detect this disease.

Signs and symptoms of colorectal cancer include:

A change in bowel habits

Beauty Tips in Urdu

Hair Removal tips for Girls

Top Ten Cars

Blood (either bright red or very dark) in the stool

Diarrhea, constipation or feeling that the bowel does not empty completely

Stools that are narrower than usual

General abdominal discomfort (frequent gas pains, bloating, fullness or cramps)

Weight loss with no known reason

Constant tiredness

Vomiting

If you experience any of these symptoms or are concerned you may have colon cancer, don’t let embarrassment stop you from seeking help. Make an appointment with your doctor immediately. Early detection can save your life.

Brain injury or brain trauma can wreak havoc on your brains ability to function at its full capacity. Brain injuries can cause many negative effects such as impaired memory, depression, inattention, emotional outbursts and slow thinking.

Brain injuries are one the leading cause of death for people under 45 years old in the United States. Brain injury can happen a few different ways the most common is from a concussion. Although not all concussions have long term effects on the brain some certainly do. A concussion is usually caused by a hard strike to the head either by a punch or with an object.

Another type of brain injury is from whiplash. Again whiplash doesn’t always have long term brain effects but it can and is a cause for concern. Most activities that have the possibility of causing whiplash such as auto racing or football provide the players with specialized helmets to decrease the chances.

The specific place you get him on the brain can also determine the amount of brain injury you may suffer from.

The main causes of hard hits that cause brain injury are automobile accidents. After automobile accidents the next biggest group of brain injury victims comes from work related accidents.

Brain injury can be caused from direct trauma such as hitting something or being hit by something and it can also be caused by indirect trauma which is what we see in things like shaken baby syndrome. Another thing than can cause brain damage is toxicity and lack of oxygen.

The symptoms of a brain injury can be broken down into 6 distinctive parts.

They are the frontal lobe, parietal lobe, occipital lobe, temporal lobe, brain stem and cerebellum. They symptoms for each type of these brain injuries vary. Here are a few examples:

Frontal Lobe: Paralysis, inability to plan, change in personality and difficulty with problem solving.

Parietal Lobe: Inability to multi task, inability to name objects, inability to focus the eyes and difficulties with eye and hand coordination.

Occipital Lobes: Vision defects, hallucinations, inability to recognize words and difficulty reading and writing.

Temporal Lobe: Difficulty recognizing faces, difficulty understanding spoken words, short term memory loss and interference with long term memory

Brain Stem: Decreased vital capacity in breathing, trouble swallowing, dizziness and nausea and sleeping difficulties.

Cerebellum: Loss of ability to coordinate movements, loss of ability to walk, tremors and inability to make rapid movements.

Each of these types of brain injuries is serious and if you find you are experiencing any of the symptoms you should seek medical help immediately.

Yogurt has been made and eaten for at least 5400 years. At present times, yogurt has become food consumed by people all over the world. Yogurt gives a lot of health benefits because they include many nutrients like proteins, with calcium, riboflavin, vitamin B6 and vitamin B12.

In yogurt, fermented sour milk of Streptococcus thermophilus and Lactobacillus bulgaricus has many benefits. These bacteria make the milk sugar (lactose) into lactic acid. This lactic acid causes sour taste of yogurt. The fermentation process causes reduced levels of lactose in yogurt; therefore, yogurt can be consumed by people allergic to milk and the elderly.

The Nutrition

In terms of nutrition, yogurt with the milk does not differ greatly. However, because the fermentation process there is several nutrients was higher in yogurt such as vitamin B1, vitamin B2, and several types of amino acid protein compiler.

Calcium and phosphorus in the yogurt is very high, so good for preventing osteoporosis, and colon cancer. In the stomach and small intestine there are many types of microflora, lactic acid bacteria is one of the dominant.

Bacteria from yogurt can live in the intestine and symbiosis with other microflora. The existence of beneficial bacteria in the intestine provides conditions that can prevent the growth of pathogenic microbes. Benefits, a variety of diseases caused by microbial infection or poisoning can be avoided due to stunted growth of pathogenic microbes. Microflora of yogurt will produce a layer of protein along the digestive tract. The benefits are many carcinogenic compounds cause cancer in the GI tract can be inhibited absorption and excreted through the feces.

The bacteria contained in fermented milk is a probiotic bacteria that can produce lactic acid.

The resulting lactic acid is capable of metabolizing cholesterol from food into a form not sterol that can be absorbed by the intestine, therefore yogurt can lower cholesterol. Another benefit of yogurt is to prevent hypertension and coronary heart disease.

Benefits of yogurt for your teeth

Yogurt not only helps balance the levels of bacteria in the stomach but also prevents tooth decay. Eating dairy products is at least four times a week, according to the findings of researchers, reducing the risk of tooth decay as much as 22 percent of children aged three years. Yogurt is consumed proven to offer protection to children, which comes from the content of calcium and phosphate in the yogurt. Both of these components serve to strengthen tooth enamel coating.

Therefore, why do not we choose yogurt as a healthy food everyday? Because it has many benefits for the health of our bodies

Over the course of a lifetime, 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer

Cancer has been around as long as mankind, but it was only less than a hundred years ago when the number of cases increased manifold that the medical profession rose and took serious notice. Contributing to this explosion are the excessive amounts of toxins and pollutants we are exposed to, high stress lifestyles, poor quality junk food that’s full of pesticides that weaken the immune system.

As an ongoing process cancerous cells are always being created in the body. It’s an ongoing process that has gone on for eons. Consequently, there are parts of your immune system that are designed to seek out and destroy cancer cells.

Cancer tumors begin when more cancerous cells are being created than an overworked, depleted immune system can destroy.

Breast cancer isnot a mysterious disease that suddenly attacks you out of the blue, something that you can’t do anything about. It has definite causes that you can correct if your body has enough time, and if you take action to change the internal environment to one that creates health, not cancer.

Breast Cancer usually does not cause early symptoms. This is why regular breast exams are important. As the cancer grows, symptoms may include a breast lump or lump in the armpit that is hard, has uneven edges, and usually does not hurt. A change in the feel of the breast or pus-like fluid coming from the nipple can be the early signs of impending breast cancer.

No matter what you may have heard about cancer being a death sentence, about how you’ll suffer the ravages of chemotherapy and radiation therapy only to die in the end, here’s hope.

This report will tell you about the best natural supplements that work on their own, or in conjunction with chemotherapy or radiation therapy, to greatly improve the likelihood that you will defeat cancer. At the same time they will significantly reduce the side effects of chemotherapy and radiation.

Your risk of developing breast cancer increases as you get older. The majority of advanced breast cancer cases are found in women over age 50. You may also have a higher risk for breast cancer if you have a close relative who has had breast cancer. About 20 – 30% of women with breast cancer have a family history of the disease.

Some people have genes that make them more prone to developing breast cancer. If a parent passes you a defective gene, you have an increased risk for breast cancer. Women with this one defect alone have up to an 80% chance of getting breast cancer sometime during their life.

Women who get their periods early (before age 12) or went through menopause late (after age 55) have an increased risk for breast cancer. So do women who had late pregnancies.

Obesity has been linked to breast cancer, although this link is controversial. However, as a precaution, women could do well to avoid smoking and alcohol in excess.

Lastly, a healthy diet and lifestyle is known to do wonders.

Colorectal cancer is a form of cancer that develops in the colon or rectum. That’s why it’s often labeled as colon cancer. Colorectal cancer attacks men and women of all racial and ethnic groups, and is most often found in people aged 50 years or older. There is an explanation for the age factor of course, and it’s probably quite obvious for all of you.

Colorectal cancer, also called colon cancer or large bowel cancer, includes cancerous growths in the colon, rectum and appendix. With 655,000 deaths worldwide per year, it is the fourth most common form of cancer in the United States and the third leading cause of cancer-related death in the Western world.

Most colorectal cancer is considered sporadic, meaning it occurs in people with no family history of the disease. So, we can blame a lot of things on our family, but usually colorectal cancer isn’t one of them. It is more likely to occur as people get older. In general, both men and women at average risk of colorectal cancer should begin screening tests at age 50.

The two other types of colorectal cancer treatment which are often used in addition to surgery are radiation therapy and chemotherapy. Both of these types of treatment are very aggressive, but they also have a really good rate of success making them a standard practice by doctors. Even after treatment though, it is necessary to continue care for colorectal cancer as there is always the chance that cancer cells can develop again on any new polyps that might appear on the lining of your colon. Always be diligent in obtaining screenings and maintaining your health.

It is thought that colorectal cancers take many years to develop, usually starting as a pre-cancerous polyp in the color or rectum. Because they tend to take such a long time to develop, there is time to detect the growths and remove them before they become troublesome. This is why colorectal cancer is a very preventable disease.

Symptoms of Colorectal Cancer:

1. Changes in bowel habits. This can manifest in constipation, diarrhoea, bowel incontinence, and feeling of unfinished bowel movement.

2. Production of narrower stools than normal.

3. Presence of blood in stools. Take note, however, that not all bleeding is due to cancer. Other problems such as hemorrhoids (piles), ulcers, ulcerative colitis, etc. can also produce blood in stools.

4. Anemia. This is the shortage of red blood cells.

A change in your bowel pattern and the presence of blood in the stool are early symptoms. Constipation or diarrhea, which lasts 10 days or more, may be one of the first symptoms of cancer of the colon. Anyone over 50 who are experiencing these change in their bowel movements should see a doctor as early as possible.

Colorectal cancer is also known as colon cancer or bowel cancer. It refers to cancer in the colon, rectum and appendix. Researchers say that many colorectal cancers develop from polyps in your colon. These mushroom-like growths are usually non life threatening. But some may grow into colorectal cancer over time. You would need a colonoscopy for a diagnosis. Colorectal cancer treatment may require surgery, followed by a course of chemotherapy.

Less well understood is the role of Vitamin D as a survival factor in patients who have already been diagnosed with colorectal cancer. Now, a newly updated clinical research study from Harvard University, just published in the British Journal of Cancer, suggests that higher Vitamin D levels in colorectal cancer survivors may be associated with a significantly greater likelihood of surviving the third most common cause of cancer death in the United States.

Aspirin has yet to be added to recommendations for treating colorectal cancer due to the questions on dosage, how long you need to be taking it and its effect on survival. Some studies have suggested a higher dose of aspirin might be needed, but this latest case controlled research finds that a lower dose is enough to provide protection.

Radiotherapy and immunotherapy are other effective treatments for colorectal cancer. Usually, radiotherapy is not used for colon cancer. It is difficult to target the particular part of the colon. However, radiation can be used for rectal cancer. This therapy is given in the metastatic stage. In case the tumor extends beyond the rectum, this therapy is given before the surgery.

Calculate the risk. As with many health issues, colon and rectal cancers can have a family tendency. To find out your risk level for this cancer, you should examine the medical history of your immediate family members. Have any of your family members been victims of colon or rectal cancers previously? How old were they when they were diagnosed? Watch out for inflammatory bowel disease which is a sign of cancer.

There are no visible symptoms of colon cancer at an early stage. That’s why it is important to get screened once you hit 40 years old. The symptoms depends on the location of the tumor cells in the bowel and whether it has spread elsewhere in the body. Common symptom is the blood in the stool, abdominal pain, change in bowel habits, sudden weight loss, fatigue and constant stress. When the symptoms are ignored, it’s more highly difficult to treat.

Mesothelioma is a form of cancer that affects the abdominal cavity, chest cavity, and the area around the heart. It has an uncommon nature that makes it difficult to diagnose and treat. It has been connected with exposure to asbestos, which is a material that was found in many work environments. There is a small amount of people that are diagnosed with this terrible disease.

Normal mesothelioma therapies include surgery, radiation and chemotherapy. You should keep in mind that if you choose one course of action for mesothelioma treatment, you might preclude other courses. All of your options should be considered as soon as possible.

When individuals have a prolonged history of working with asbestos, they are at higher risk of Mesothelioma cancer. It will take the people that have been exposed to this type of asbestos to not have any kind of symptoms for up to forty years. This means that the average age of the people that are finding out that they have this problem are between the ages of fifty and seventy. There are more men that are being diagnosed than women. This is due to the fact that there were more industrial settings found to have the asbestos.

Mesothelioma cancer will cause fluid to accumulate between the lung lining and the chest cavity. This can be determined through a chest x-ray as well as a CT scan. A biopsy will have to be performed to confirm the diagnoses.

Mesothelioma cancer is a life threatening disease and should not be left untreated. If someone had this type of cancer, they need to seek the help of a medical professional as soon as possible. There are forms of treatment that have to be set into place so that the person has a chance at their life.

In recent years asbestos has not been used in anything. Since it has been determined that it is so dangerous to one’s health, the federal government has forbad the use of this type of material in any industry or products. A lot of the industries in the fifties and sixties were contaminated with asbestos that caused many people to have mesothelioma cancer.

Many sources are dedicated to help the victims of this awful disease. Many agencies are going to great lengths to help the people that have been affected and the families that have had to suffer because of this terrible disease. Even though this is a rare disease, it can affect thousands of families each year.

Some of the treatments of Mesothelioma cancer include surgery, radiation and chemotherapy. You need to keep in mind that if you choose one course of treatment for this disease, you may have to take on another challenge or even try another form of treatment for it to work. You must keep going and try all that is offered to ensure that you beat this terrible disease.

According to the Mayo Clinic, all three types of skin cancer are on the rise. These include squamous cell carcinoma, basal cell carcinoma, and the most serious form – melanoma. The good news is that almost all forms are preventable by avoiding sun exposure or other forms for ultraviolet (UV) radiation. It is also true that early detection can result in successful treatment of even the most aggressive types of skin cancers.

So what exactly causes skin cancer?

Cancerous cells are most likely to form on parts of your body that have the most exposure to sun. The most vulnerable areas include your face, lips, scalp, chest, neck, arms, hands and women’ s legs. You might be surprised to learn that cell malignant cells can also develop in areas of your body that are rarely (or never) exposed directly to sunlight. These areas include between your toes, under your toenails or fingernails, the palms of your hands, and the genital area.

The risk of skin cancer is not limited simply to people with light complexions.

But when dark skinned people do develop melanoma, they are more likely to experience it in parts of the body not usually considered to be sun-exposed.

There is also no standard time table for cancerous lesions to develop. Depending on the type of cancer, a skin lesion can develop slowly over many years or appear very suddenly.

Warning signs of skin cancer are usually visual. For basal cell carcinoma, you may notice a waxy bump on your face, neck or ears, or a flat brown scar-like lesion on your back or chest. Squamous cell carcinoma usually appears as a firm red nodule, or a flat scaly lesion, on the face, neck, ear, hands or arms.

Melanoma, which is the most deadly form of skin cancer, can develop anywhere on the body – although it is found most frequently on the trunk, head or neck of men and the arms or legs of women.

Melanoma can appear as a large brown spot with darker speckles, or a mole that suddenly changes color or size or bleeds. Melanoma can also appears as a small lesion with an irregular border and blue, red, black or white spots. Shiny, firm dome-shaped bumps can also be a warning sign of melanoma, as well as dark lesions on the soles of the feet, palms of the hands, or on the mucous linings of the nose, mouth, anus or vagina.

While not all changes in your skin are malignant, it is best to have your doctor examine any changes that you notice. With early detection, most skin cancer can treated. And with proper sun protection, it can often be avoided altogether.
